Nena's cooking is touching. Solid, yet light, rich, yet simple. Warm, friendly, but at the same time lively and surprising. Absolutely grounded in the here and now, in the need for tenderness, for Greekness, for a kitchen that listens to the seasonal earth, that glorifies local products at the right time, an essentially 'green' kitchen, but not didactic, certainly not marketing.
